Our classes are for EVERYBODY with modifications given for all levels!

Hatha Flow:  A balanced combination of sustained poses (Hatha) as well as poses flowing in a mindful evolution from one to another. Classes are balanced with energy, to give you a good physical work-out, and calm, to keep you balanced.  These classes are approximately half stretching poses and half strengthening and toning poses, all combined with proper breathing and grounding techniques. An all levels class where beginners will safely learn the basics while more experienced students can take postures to a deeper level.

Hike & Yoga:  Hike to the top of Champlain and enjoy the breathtaking view as we do a short strengthening sequence on Sol’s Deck.  Hike back down and enjoy a short stretching sequence to lengthen and ease our hard worked muscles.

Gentle Flow: This is a practice of gentle flowing postures that will warm and open the body, encourage internal health and quiet the mind. Postures can be modified for any level.

Power Flow: A vigorous, more athletic approach to yoga techniques characterized by flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. In this fast paced class, strength, flexibility and stamina are all emphasized.

Restorative Yoga: Restore the mind and body in this gentle series. Class will incorporate the use of blocks and blankets and include a luxurious final relaxation leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed.  A special emphasis will be made on chest opening, stretching the hips, and releasing tension from the neck and shoulders to counter-act the stress held in the body from the daily office grind.

Sunrise Yoga:  Say Good Morning to the Sun and start your day with a warm-up for the whole body. A blend of stillness and an energizing flow will inspire you to deepen your mind-body connection while building strength and flexibility. You are encouraged to go at your own pace and listen to your body.

Vinyasa Flow: Serenity. Strength. Simplicity. This creative flow practice encourages you to move with intention and to listen to your body as you explore your edges and discover inner strength. Strengthening asanas (poses) will be combined with deep opening of those muscle areas that can become tense and tight in active people – hamstrings/quads, hips and shoulders. You will leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

Yin Yoga:  In Yin Yoga the poses are held for several minutes at a time in order to the stretch the connective tissues around the joints. It encourages long held floor poses to enhance energy distribution through the Yin parts of the body, namely the bones and connective tissues that bind them increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
